my new goal

For anyone who has seen me recently, I desperately need to loose some weight. I have become way too out of shape for comfort. But, at the same time I don't want to be someone who is constantly on different types of diets- no carb, weight watchers points, etc.

I have realized,lately as I have thought about what I want for myself in life and also in reading the blog (see link on previous post) that i need to start small and do what works for me.

And I know that it's true- If I'm not willing to do it everyday for the rest of your life then it just won't work. And no, I'm not ready to eat no carbs for the rest of my life or count my points. So I am just going to watch what I eat and exercise more. That I can do for the rest of my life.

Good for you. Do you have a sunflower market up there or a farmers market? We've found that if we have lots of fruit and vegetables lying around, that we tend to eat them more than other things and it helps soooo much in so many areas--especially colon health and it prevents us from eating as many sweets!
