a party in my head

Have you heard the song "Party in my Head"? It's fun and also funny at the same time.  But I can relate because it happens to me all the time. Especially when I'm lying in bed trying to fall asleep and I can't stop thinking about everything I need to do and I keep promising to myself that I will wake up early tomorrow so I can get a good start on it and the party just keeps on going until much later than I wanted and then I eventually fall asleep. The only problem is that since the party in my head went on for so long I'm exhausted in the morning and I don't end up getting early...

hopefully if you have a party in your head it's more fun than mine :)

But I did have a fun, actual "party" last night when I hosted book club. Most of the ladies in the club don't know me very well since I was just invited by my neighbor to join. However, they were all very kind and it was a good opportunity to invite them into our home since they all live nearby.  I made some fruit pizzas and also tried this recipe. It was very yummy.
I guess having two different parties in one night is a good thing. Just as long as I don't have a party in my head tonight. Waking up at 3am doesn't go well with a late night. :)

Your house is so cute. I think it's a perfect reflection of your style.

I'm impressed wih how you are so good at opening up and creating situations to make friends. I appreciated it when lived near you & you've inspired me to do more.

What book did you read? I agree with Diedra, your house is so cute! Sleep is super important to me lately-I hope you're able to get some more ;)

we are so realated because even though I am exhausted at night I DO THIS!!! It's a bad habit. That's why I like to read at night -- Kurt says I have to 'unwind". xoxo
