Our Honeymoon

We went on our honeymoon to Newport Beach, CA and had so much fun. We laughed a lot and, although the weather was a bit cloudy and rainy, we had a few days on the beach. It was wonderful to walk on the beach and just breathe the air there-Jake realized how much I love it. (I can't help it, I'm a daughter of a California girl). Jake also got to meet my Grandpa - he even was brave enough to play Aggravation with him. Jake was also introduced to the lovely California traffic, and we were very grateful for our borrowed GPS. We also drove to Palm Springs and Jake was able to meet my Grandma. We went to Balboa Island, the Newport Beach Temple and celebrated my 25th birthday. So now I get to say "I've been married since I was 24." :) We had fun and it was hard to come back to start normal life. However, we did have the reception in CO to look forward to. I still miss the beach though...
