Yesterday we got to hear Ann Dibb speak. It was wonderful and we were so glad we went. It was spiritually uplifting and also very funny. We both left smiling and enjoyed some good laughs as we heard her talk about her father, President Monson.  One of the funny things that she said was something to the effect of:

from Logan to Salt Lake it takes about an hour and a half. But from Salt Lake to Logan it takes about 4 hours for those of us in Salt Lake!

It is so true. Sad, but true. I can't believe how many people who always tell us that it is too far to drive to come to Logan yet they  expect us to drive down there. I was joking with some friends at church who had friends there visiting from Orem. I told them, "you must be really good friends because we can't get our friends to come up here to visit" and they said, "it took a long time to get them to come up!"  :)
