1. Sometimes I like doing these tags because it just gives me something to write on my blog. Sometimes I think they are stupid because usually I wouldn't care. :)

2. I love to organize. (Don't come over to my house right now though, because you won't find proof) and I would love to become a professional organizer someday.

3. One of my new favorite shows is Lie to Me on Fox. And I totally want to study people to be able to do that. So interesting.

4. I don't think this is random because everyone knows, but I have horrible luck with computers. In the last 2 months I have had one completely crash and then we recovered it and then it completely discombobulated. (what a fun word- I don't care if it's not the right context, I just wanted to use it) and now the next one has major issues.

5. I listen to talk radio. I used to hate it when I had to drive with my Dad and he listened. Now Jake hates driving with me when I turn it on. Dennis Prager is my personal favorite.

6. I have a lazy eye. ( I was born cross-eyed and one of them still doesn't get used as much as it should) Yes it's embarrassing, but I figure most of you have noticed it so saying it will clear up any questions. :)

sleep

You never really appreciate sleep until you don't get it. And lately I haven't been getting very much sleep. Part of the reason I haven't posted in forever is because I've been so busy. Our lives currently consist of working full time, going to school full-time and starting a new business. Last night I slept from 1am- 5:30am because I had a paper due today. I have another one due on Monday, but I hope to catch up on some of my sleep this weekend.
Last night I was able to have a small enrichment at our house about utilizing Preach My Gospel. It was awesome for me and made me realize how much I miss missionary work. I really need to be better at it. It helped me feel the fire that I felt on my mission and want to be a better example of Jesus Christ.
Sorry I don't have any inspiring thoughts or comments or good news, but I am grateful for a God who loves us all and watches over us. And for all of you and your kindness, your wonderful examples as you go through your lives.

grand opening

Friday was the grand opening of shine. I will upload some pics- they don't look as good as the store does in person though, so you need to come to see it in person!!! We would love to see you guys come by. And we will let you know as soon as the website is up and running. I know many of you are probably thinking we are insane for starting a retail business right now with the economy, so don't feel bad, I'll just go ahead and say it for you- we are.

Day one

So Monday night we put our cases in the mall and we are slowly but surely getting ready for opening day. We are going to be in a kiosk for the first month until the person who is moving is out of our store. Here are some pics.

SHINE.

We have been super busy lately with work and school, and for those of you who do not know, we are starting a business. We are super excited and plan to open the store in the mall this coming Friday. We still have a lot to do but hope it will work out.
My computer also crashed about 2 weeks ago and life has been awful ever since. We thought we recovered the files but I just found out I lost 2 years worth of pictures. Yes, this is where you feel sorry for me :) and yes I am crying about it. It makes me so depressed. Computers hate me. Actually I think I could probably broaden it to machines in general. Machines hate me.

Well, if any of you want to come visit our store in the mall, please come on by. We will be in a kiosk for the first month or so until the store is ready to move in to. And we will be having a Valentine's special so please tell your friends and neighbors!
