I can't believe how fast this week went. It flew by for me and I basically didn't do a lot even though I felt busy the whole time. wow- I need to do better at using my time wisely.
We had a great Valentine's day. My husband was craving sushi (don't die from shock) and luckily, a place near us is having half off all sushi rolls right now so it was affordable. $3 for a roll is not too shabby if I do say so myself.
I had my cake decorating class and although I am not great, I was able to make some flowers turn out decent and I was excited (see middle picture from wordless wednesday)
This week I did do better with making my daily to-do list and it helped me stay focused. Exercise was not amazing, but it happened 3 days out of the week. Unfortunately, I am still sore from the awesome class I go to on Thursday nights.
I am enjoying reading the Book of Mormon right now, although I am so far behind on our stake's goal of finishing it by April. Lately I have been listening to it and it has been good. I love the people of Mosiah.
My nightly 10 minute clean up has been an epic fail this week and this month. I'm really not sure how I did so well in January and then feel like I am falling apart this month. However, I have 10 more days this month and I can accomplish my monthly goals perfectly for these last 10 days.
For some reason, my 15 minutes of sewing time hasn't happened this week. I don't know if it's just emotions, but I have been avoiding it this week. Luckily, last night I sat down and forced myself to work on a project for week 2 of my curves class. I've also noticed that on my to-do list I accomplish the easier things first and leave the harder ones for last (which sometimes means they don't get done). I think I need to do better at accomplishing a nagging task this week.
I've enjoyed some good reading time this week and finished Moon Over Manifest. I am now enjoying Graceling. I also took some time to catch up on Downton Abbey this week (I don't know how I got sucked into a tv show, but I did). More job applications went out and even more prayers were said.
I am looking forward to a new week and new chances :)
