Book Wreath

I've been wanting to make this book wreath for a while and finally got around to it today.  We were going to go ice skating with James and Sarah today, but that didn't work out. There is a park here in Logan that they freeze over and make a skating rink out of each winter.  They have a little place where they rent skates, too.  It was a little too cold to go last night, so we decided to go during the day today. Unfortunately, the only sizes of skates they had for women were a size 4 or 9.5+.  I'm a 6. Sarah's a 7.  So, we decided to go another time when there are less people so we can get some skates that fit.
Since Jake is starting school next week (and possibly me too),  I figured it was good to get at least one of my projects done.  Here are my results.   (Some of the lighting is bad, but you get the idea.)  I really like how it turned out, and I think I want to make another. Depending on the type of book you use, it will have a different look to it. So I think I may make another with a book that has whiter paper. This was an old DI book, so the pages were a bit yellow  I think I have the perfect place for it, too.
