ribbon project

This week has gone by fast. I did so good about posting on here more often last week, but really haven't had much to post about this week. I know I have posted this quote before, but I love it so much that I had to share it again. Mainly because this is the reason why I love to work on different projects. Some may think it is a waste of time or that there are other things I should be doing, but it is important to create:

"The desire to create is one of the deepest yearnings of the human soul. No matter our talents, education, backgrounds, or abilities, we each have an inherent wish to create something that did not exist before.

Everyone can create. You don’t need money, position, or influence in order to create something of substance or beauty.

Creation brings deep satisfaction and fulfillment. We develop ourselves and others when we take unorganized matter into our hands and mold it into something of beauty." -Dieter F. Uchtdorf

My sisters and I decided this past month to do this challenge from May Arts.  Free ribbon to do the project and free ribbon just for getting it done sounded good to me, so I did it.  My project didn't turn out that great, but it was fun. I made a table runner with some cute pink ribbon. Now I have something to decorate for Valentine's Day with!  Be sure to check out my sisters' pillow and shirt. They are super cute, way cuter than anything I could have done!

thanks for sharing the quote again - it is inspiring and affirming! also your table runner is AWESOME!!! I seriously think you have a very creative talent - don't always compare yourself con tus harmanas, chica, you have your own unique talent!

i would love to see you again soon. we are never in logan any more since it is not rock climbing season. maybe we can catch you next time you are in our neck of the woods!

I love the table runner, Kris! It's super cute, and you're way more talented than you give yourself credit for. I was wearing the necklace you made me the other day and got a compliment on it. I proudly told her that my sis made it for me! You're awesome!
